Vaishvii Goel

Programme Associate

Vaishvii is a Programme Associate with the Sustainable Livelihoods team at CEEW.

Prior to joining the Council, Vaishvii has worked with diverse organisations, namely J-PAL, NITI Aayog and KPMG India. At J-PAL, she worked with the Bihar government to conduct an impact assessment of a scheme under the State Rural Livelihoods Mission. At NITI Aayog, she worked with the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit on projects ranging from measuring data governance quality of administrative data to developing strategy to converge seven infrastructure monitoring portals into one. She also worked closely with multiple ministries during her stint at NITI Aayog. At KPMG India, she worked with the Ministry of Education on various policy problems and contributed to the development of a strategy for implementing a state-backed ERP system across 5000+ higher education institutions.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Master’s in Economics from Ashoka University. During her bachelor's, she undertook a primary survey to study the open-defecation behaviour in urban slums in Delhi.

Outside of work, Vaishvii enjoys dancing and hones her Bharatnatyam training in her spare time. She maintains an active lifestyle and finds coloring mandalas surprisingly therapeutic after long days. She's currently on a quest to perfect her baking skills.
