Yashi Gupta

Associate Product Manager

Yashi has joined The Council as an Associate Product Manager in the Tech & AI team. Her work focuses on building climate products, such as the CR Atlas (with the climate resilience team), AI-based KMS, along with other products with teams like energy transitions and power markets.

Prior to joining The Council, she worked as a junior product owner at Packt Publishing, UK. As the first product hire, scaling the product from 0 to 1, she managed the feature roadmap, catalog distribution, and end-to-end customer lifecycle to enhance product efficiency and user experience. This role marked her transition from editorial to product — she previously edited tech ebooks and audiobooks in collaboration with industry experts. She began her career as a BFSI news editor with CNBC-TV18’s digital desk, where she ideated, wrote, and edited stories on national and international economics, markets, and geopolitics while managing desk operations.

Yashi holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from the University of Rajasthan. Outside of work, she loves simply being. She spends her time alternating between breathing and reading—books like high fantasy, magical realism, and literary fiction books and product newsletters. She enjoys exploring blogs on climate, queer intersectional feminism, and trauma-informed psychology (from a philosophical lens). She also volunteers with organisations such as Na’amal, merch.eco, and the Robin Hood Army in different capacities. When the heat isn’t blistering too much, she can often be found walking around cities, capturing the dance of sunlight with leaves and petals on her mobile.

  • What I believe in

I don’t know how to save the world. I don’t have the answer. I hold no secret knowledge as to how to fix the mistakes of generations past and present. I only know that without compassion and respect for all Earth’s inhabitants, none of us will survive, nor will we deserve to.
