Waqar has joined CEEW as a Consultant – Video Producer. He will be leading end-to-end in-house video production for CEEW’s outreach and communication initiatives.

With experience in filmmaking, journalism, and social impact storytelling, he focuses on documenting human-centred stories, producing documentaries, and creating multimedia content that bridges communities and causes.

He holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication from AJK MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia. Over the last few years, he has collaborated with organisations like Forbidden Stories, El País, Agencia EFE, Save the Children, HCL Foundation, and GIZ India, contributing to projects that combined field reporting with creative storytelling. His portfolio includes feature-length documentaries, fiction films and digital campaigns for various Organisations. 

When he’s not working, Waqar can be found wandering through old streets with his camera, watching documentaries, scribbling poetry from chance encounters, or hunting for his next chai spot.
