
Srishti Jain
Research Analyst
Srishti is a research analyst with the Clean Air team. Her primary focus is on promoting a circular economy for agricultural residue to curb stubble burning. At the Council, Srishti uses ground research and data-driven analysis to propose viable and socially inclusive policies. In her previous role at NITI Aayog, she evaluated the progress of India’s businesses in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets.
Srishti holds a master's degree in environmental economics from the Madras School of Economics and a bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, and statistics from Christ University, Bengaluru. Her research interests also include development economics and applied econometrics. For her master’s thesis, she used regression analysis to study the impact of multigenerational households on the children's educational outcomes.
Outside of work, Srishti likes to be nestled in a corner with a historical or nonfiction book, paint her heart out, curate a handicrafts and home decor collection, or enjoy a good workout. Lately, she's on a quest to discover Delhi’s gems and understand the many layers of the city’s ever-transforming soul.
