Kavya has joined The Council as a Consultant with the Sustainable mobility team. Her work focuses on advancing inclusive and sustainable urban transport solutions, with a particular interest in public transport integration, non-motorised modes and people centric designs.

Prior to joining The Council, Kavya worked as an urban planner at the Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT), Bangalore. Her work there spanned first mile and last mile connectivity to transit stations, transit-oriented development and multimodal integration contributing to more accessible and efficient urban mobility systems.

Kavya holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a master's in Urban Planning from School of Planning and Architecture (SPAD), Delhi. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time by the sea and binge-watching Netflix shows.
