Engagement Lead

Pradheep has joined as a Consultant with the Climate Resilience team at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW). His work focuses on integrating climate risk resilience, disaster risk reduction, public health, and climate adaptation strategies across urban and rural ecosystems in India. He adopts a transdisciplinary, systems-based approach to resilience, advancing community-centric solutions such as heat action planning, climate risk management, early warning systems, sustainable sanitation, and nature-based infrastructure. His efforts contribute to risk-informed planning, institutional capacity building, and the development of evidence-based policies at multiple scales.

Pradheep brings multidisciplinary background spanning environmental science, agriculture, climate change, disaster management, and public health, which has provided him with a wide spectrum of field-based, technical, and policy experiences. His ability to navigate across sectors and disciplines enables him to develop holistic and actionable solutions for climate adaptation. At CEEW, he is committed to strengthening the Climate Resilience team’s work by contributing strategic insights on integrated planning, community engagement, and nature-based solutions that address the vulnerabilities of both people and ecosystems.

Driven by a strong commitment to bridging science, policy, and grassroots action from experience working with World Bank assisted projects in Asia and Africa. Pradheep is passionate about contributing to building climate-resilient communities and ecosystems across the Global South.
