Purva Misra is the Chief People Officer of the NDTV Group, an Indian media conglomerate.

With 25+ years of strategic HR, operational, and management consulting experience, Purva was most recently the Chief HR Officer of the India Today Group and the Chief Operating Officer of the India Today Media Institute. She was previously associated with MakeMyTrip.com as Sr. Vice President, with Max Healthcare and Max Neeman as Director HR, and with Aon-Hewitt as Principal Consultant and Asia-Pacific HR Director.

Purva has managed diverse talent across 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, is a certified Executive Coach, and has worked across a spectrum of professional services, including media, digital content, management consulting, e-commerce, and healthcare. She brings a background in leadership development, executive search, training and succession, restructuring and change, mergers and acquisitions, and international workforce relations. She has done extensive research on the best employers and people practices that help organizations thrive. Besides her passion for people, she has driven sustained revenue growth.

An Economics (Honors) graduate from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, Purva received her MBA degree with a Gold Medal from XLRI Jamshedpur.
